The “good” agreement

In order for you and your customer or your supplier to be satisfied with a project and interested in doing business together again in the future, you need to agree on an assignment before starting it. In other words, mutual harmonization of expectations is the basis for any cooperation.

A good agreement is the basis for any good business and obtaining a good result. It means that expectations have been balanced between the supplier and the customer. Reality has been taken into consideration, and the agreement has been drafted in a language both parties understand. In our world, standard agreements are as rare as standard solutions. Any agreement ha to be adjusted to the unique situation it is to regulate.

The “good” agreement defines price frames, terms of payment, deadline and quality and includes a thorough description of the extent and scope of a task, among other things. If you agree on those things, it is subsequently much easier for both parties to deliver and receive the work, and to avoid misunderstandings. And if an error, failure or other irregularities occur, the good agreement is the key, which both parties can utilize to clarify any obligations and/or liabilities. Consult us from the beginning the next time you need to draft a ”good” agreement.
